This weekend in Orange Beach, you can check out the newest yachts – not just one or two or a few, but hundreds of them. The Wharf Boat & Yacht Show, the largest boat show on the Gulf coast, is opening on Friday morning.
This is a full-fledged fest that is fun for the whole family along with live music and many other things. Children can relish free art learning sessions from well known artist Larry Rackley. Friday is Locals Day where people who stay in the region get a US$ 3 discount providing they have a local ID.
On Saturday, 19th March from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. is Ladies Day. The highlight would be Lucca Fashion event, a professionally produced fashion show. On 20th March, Sunday, is Lagniappe Sunday. It will go on from 10 am and will go on till 5 pm. Admission fee is US$ 10 for each adult and kids of twelve years of age and under get in free.
While officials are still working hard to figure put the cause of a fire which took down a luxury yacht tied up in the Charlotte Amalie Harbor earlier on Tuesday, statements from different organizations confirmed that no one was hurt by the blaze. It was due to go out to a Yacht Charter Croatia too.
The yacht Positive Energy was moored at Yacht Haven Grande marina when it was engulfed in fire. YHG’s property manager’s statement suggested that the blaze completely extinguished in late afternoon.
